The Vodou Castle is a private museum, run by a non-profit organisation. For management cost reasons, entry will therefore not be completely free on that night. Booking your visit, with prepayment, is therefore highly recommended.
THE PROGRAMME
From 6 PM to 10:45 PM: Self-guided visit slots
Discover the permanent exhibition as well as the temporary exhibition « Pirogues-Todjivu ».
Doors close at 11 PM.
From 6 PM to 8 PM: Family time (ages 4 to 99)
Self-guided tours of the museum and continuously available workshops
Make your fetish!
This children's workshop will be an opportunity to create your own fetish, by drawing, cutting, sticking... and to take this souvenir home with you!
Mémory Vodou
Will you remember the vodou artefacts seen in the museum? Test your memory with this board game. (No booking required for these activities)
From 8 PM to 11 PM: Time for the grown-ups
Self-guided tours, impromptu insights from our guides, and virtual reality experiences.
Virtual reality experiences: 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM (reservations recommended)
Have you always dreamed of observing a Voodoo ritual? It is now possible to discover 4 Voodoo ceremonies filmed in Benin in 360° using virtual reality headsets.
Virtual reality price: €8 for a session lasting approximately 35 minutes.
(This ticket includes museum entry that evening) Very limited places.
